An Early 18th Century Pewter Spire Flagon
Having an S-shaped handle, with a boot heel terminal and chair back thumbpiece. The tapering drum decorated with circular fillets, and standing on a wide out-curving foot. The domed lid, with a tall elegant knop finial.
Bearing a touchmark to the base for John Newham, London (Cotterell 3372).
Good, soft grey colour.
