Furniture,
After
Queen Anne
Broadly speaking, the 18th century produced furniture that was usually simpler in design, with less elaborate carving, than the earlier periods. Our collection from this era has authentic pieces from throughout the Georgian reigns, including several fine examples of the quintessential Welsh dresser, as well as superbly made and beautifully patinated cupboards, bureaus and desks. We also carry in stock an extensive variety of longcase clocks, and charming Delft racks (an attractive and practical way of displaying ceramics and other objects).
