An Elegant George II Oak Dresser Base
The single plank top, with a raised and stepped moulded edge and back, above three shallow drawers, retaining the original brass handles and escutcheons. The intricately scalloped frieze has symmetrically pierced decoration and stands on four baluster-turned legs, joined by a framed potboard with three inset panels.
The surface of the oak has maintained a lovely rich colour and deep patina.
