A Fabulous Mid-16th Century Tapestry Border Panel

Designed with flowers and foliage, the silks and coloured wools retain a rich, vibrant appearance, with blues and reds in abundance.

The ends of the border have been trimmed with a later metallic braid and fringe. The panel makes a superb table runner for a long table or dresser base.
