A Fine Queen Anne Period Oak Side Table
Having a two-plank top, which are cut from the same piece of timber and butterflied open (mirror planks), which have shaped “re-entrant” corners, above three drawers, all retaining the original brass handles, which are set into a deeply shaped frieze. The finely shaped cabriole legs have the original corner ears at the top, and terminate in well-shaped pointed toes. The cupid’s bow shaping to the front is repeated on the sides.
Good original nutty brown colour and surface.
