A Good Late-17th Century Flemish Verdure Tapestry
Woven in wools and silks, the tapestry is of a typical woodland scene, with a small cottage beside a bridge, set amongst trees in full leaf, with waterside leafy plants.
Excellent colours, with very little fading to the greens and blues, from which the name “verdure” originates.
Length 122 inches, height 89 inches.
