16th Century Carved Oak Panel

A beautifully detailed oak panel of George and the Dragon, carved in deep relief, and with exquisite care and attention to detail. St George, the horse and dragon fill the centre ground, whilst in the top corners are a small angel and a castle.

Flemish, circa 1550.
