An Impressive 17th Century Verdure Tapestry

Woven in coloured wools and silks, the tapestry illustrates a fine chateau set amongst a woodland scene. A river runs through the centre ground with exotic birds along the banks. Retaining the original border, with flowers and scrolls. The tapestry is in excellent condition, with good strong verdure colours.
