A Rare Pair of Tudor Oak Panels
The first panel, showing the joyful jester’s face as the ale or cider flows from the flagon into his tightly held beaker. In the second panel, the face has gone from showing joy to despair, as the flagon has run dry.
Both panels are very deeply carved and have tremendous colour and patina.

Width 13.5 inches by height 20 inches, depth 1.75 inches.
