A Small Early 18th Century Oak Box Settle
The three panel back, decorated with run mouldings to the top and bottom rail, and each side of the muntins, above an enclosed base, which again has a three-panelled front. Access to the base is gained through a lifting panel in the boarded seat.
The downswept arms are supported on a short turned baluster, which is integral to the stile support.
Lovely nutty brown colour.
English, circa 1700.
