A 19th Century Queen Anne Style Settee

Having a rectangular back and shaped outcurving arms, which are upholstered in the original tapestry, woven with floral motifs, figures and exotic birds. 

The legs are shaped and turned from solid walnut and joined by an X-shaped curving stretcher.

English – probably London – circa 1850-80.

Width across the back 72 inches, width across the front 82 inches, depth 36 inches, height 42 inches.
