A Rare Small 16th Century Brass Alms Dish
With traditional punch-decorated rim, the centre showing a single urn. After an engraving by Hans Sebald Beham, or Barthel Beham (circa 1528).
Lovely small size - 10 inches (25 centimetres).
Good colour and weight.
Nuremberg circa 1550-1600.
Provenance - a private collection of early sculptures and objects in North Yorkshire.
