An Impressive Late 18th Century Bronze Door Pull
The single piece cast bronze back plate has a raised moulding running around the circumference, leaving a wide, dished centre into which the circular “pull” settles. The bottom of the pull thickens to accommodate a bold knop, whilst opposite at the top the pull joins into a square block, from which the pull swings.
English, circa 1780-1800.
Diameter 7 inches.
