A Good Small Charles I Oak Table Box

Having a boarded lid with a simple incised moulding around the front and sides, rising on the original strap hinges to reveal a vacant interior.

The panel retains the original shaped lockplate and hasp, and is finished to each side with small "chip" carved decoration.

The two end panels are covered with a single leaf-filled semi-circle, which are again embellished with tiny stamped flowerheads.
