James I Oak Standing Cupboard
A fine James I oak standing cupboard. The single piece top, with strapwork carved frieze, with triangular boss embellishments. The enclosed cupboard with panelled door, with canted sides, all carved with typical Gloucestershire motifs. The frieze drawer above an open under-tier, which again has a single piece potboard. The bulbous turned front supports ornately carved with floral motifs.
