A Rare Charles II Oak Side Chair
The horizontal boarded back, with a shaped arched top and pierced central geometric pattern, surrounded by sunken carved details, is supported by two corner brackets, with similar sunken carved decoration. The inset boarded seat, made from a single plank of oak, is supported on barley twist legs, joined by similarly turned stretchers.
Excellent dark colour and patina.
