A Small Cromwellian Oak Chest
The lid, with twin panels, set in a run-moulded frame, retaining the original iron pin hinges. The front rail, with nulled decoration, above two panels which are again surrounded by a run-moulded frame.
One of the smallest and most beautifully proportioned chests I have had, outstanding colour and surface.
English, circa 1660.
