An Unusually Small Louis XV Wall Mirror
In beautiful original condition, this early 18th century mirror is set in a carved wood frame, of scrolls and stylised leaves, retaining the original gesso and gilt. The silvered mirrors are also original, as is the crest. This type of mirror nearly always had an upper crest, however many have been lost over the years, quite often to make the mirror smaller.
